NIGHTMARE
In between the depths of darkness,
Where black dreams spread the wings out,
A beauty queen sleeps in elgance of glow
Lost to the outside wind, frangrance and aroma,
Her crown lies broken into clusters of gems
A silent shimmer as nightmare descend,
Another chilling dream blossoms within
Upon a white horse back with eyes aflame,
Death's shadow approach, slow and silent,
Whispering her name, its hooves, like thunder.
On a pathway unseen, to carry her off,
For this slumbering queen, there is no gentle caress,
But a cold embrace as fear distorts her lovely face,
She reaches; she gasps, she touches in silent plea,
Caught in the depths of what's yet to be done.
