THE DEBT'S ECHO

The Debt's Echo
To borrow, a swift hand,
For need or want's command.
But heed the ancient cry:
Debt brings a heavy sigh.
Interest bites, a hidden cost,
Peace of mind is often lost.
Freedom fades, a binding chain,
In every drop of borrowed rain.
Friendships strain, trust takes flight,
Shadows lengthen in the night.
So pause, reflect, before you take,
Lest sorrow's bitter harvest wake.
