WILLIAMSJI MAVELI WRITES......
The Fading Imprint

THE FADING IMPRINTĀ
Though deeply etched, where human footsteps tread,
And transient marks on time's unending shore,
The changing seasons, silently ahead,
Will claim the forms we thought would last for evermore.
The steadfast mountain, in its ancient might,
May crumble slow, beneath the wind and rain;
The grandest towers, bathed in morning light,
Shall yield to dust, and rise no more again.
What we hold dear, as deathless and profound,
A whispered vow, a love that seems so true,
In memory's halls, may echo without sound,
As all things fade, beneath the sky's soft blue.
So let us cherish what the moment brings,
For even beauty takes to fleeting wings.
