ONCE UPON A POETREE

ONCE UPON A POETREE
A little fertile soil, in a mind so dazzling,
Held a "Poetree," a concept born of grace.
It started small, a flicker in the daylight,
Then slowly grew within that hallowed gap.
No sudden rush, but measured, steady climb,
As thoughts took root and feelings learned to bloom,
Defying all the hurried march of time,
And chasing shadows from each hidden space.
Now sturdy trunks support a verdant peak,
Of bright green leaves that rustle in the breeze,
And from its branches, gentle fruits fall down,
A harvest sweet that every spirit frees.
From childhood's heart, this Poetree I send,
A joyful message, that will never end.
