Wind and the Wolf

Wind and the Wolf

Fragile chameleon
Hidden beneath the whistle of the wind
Under the wisdom of the giving tree
As the fireflies dance
Fractures thunder shakey ground
Fires that burn in days before
Rear their ugly head once more
He who has nothing wants to run
But love is a loaded gun
Stripped down to the barest bones
In thy saddest hour thy fight alone
Chose faith over blind freedom
Hallelujah praying for salvation on one's knees
As the curse of crimson tears gently weep
Lion and the wolf linger in prides deep
Rise up to be reborn from these ashes
Through the blood in thy oath
Shed the skin of endless winters
Adorn a new season that thy can honour
The raven tattoos thy soul
With signs of valour and hope
Into the wild of wings
The wind and the wolf

Wowsers absolute diamond write! I loved the visual escape you submerged the reader into. Your rhyming was perfect and gently spun the intricate lacings of what felt like rebirth happening. Your use of nature gave the feel of Native American Indian. This is a majestic write, coupled with the beautiful picture that fits perfectly with your theme. Stunning!
