Winter Craze

I was attacked by white little angels
Over the top and down like a rainbow
The water glistened down my back
As soft as a little cat
The white spots had grown everywhere!
The wispy trees were blanketed in ivory colored moss
Deers ran to the forest to escape the stormy dust
Slush covered streets made cars brake and whine
Hurrying to stop before the end of the line
But the flurry keeps coming down
Children come out with their bright red sleighs
Over the mountain top as fast as rays
Down the chimney they went with grace
Crashing into white drifts with smiles on their face
Two line up to begin the race
Dashing up to a speed with daze
Oh what a mighty fine winter craze!

Greetings Kaylal
A great scenery to place your readers in the midst of an alluring wintery snow store, kids at play on a blanket of whiteness, never here to stay but appreciated by all each second it has remained on its invitation issued by mother nature herself. A warning for those of the summer to stay inside and snuggle where you lay and for those in favor of this mystical white powder, grab your garbs and join me at play...A Pretty poem And for those on wheels, time once again will get easier when the day
of the whiteness has subsided and the sun once again shines brighter then bright but until then, accept its simple pleasures...Great job Kayla

Thanks. It's the very first thing I posted. Whenever I have an idea I just have to write it down. And anyway, people like you, are the ones I look up to. Very good writer and having understanding of the world. I know that came out of the blue, but just putting it out there

Kayla,
That was beautiful. Summer is not too far away - and here you have me wishing for that winter craze you speak of. Childlike in its innocence- great poem!
