Winter From A Window...

Tis a joyous Season
When change is your reason
Between Autumn and Spring
Winter a window bring

For when Autumn is done
Heat will be on the run
And cool will ease on in
Closing Summer's setting

Spring's time must surely wait
Even if it is late
Winter from a window
Needs fire's back up glow

Except in the Tropics
Winter's favorite topic's
Where cold is forbidden
And little is hidden

For beaches need weather
Where Sun's shine, no whither
Whereas cold, the windows
As snow removes shadows

For cold will surely bring
It's own reasons to sing
As frost scatters the germs
And health springs on it's terms

The Daddy of all Cold
Is in the Southern bold
Where the grip of it's chill
Is as it's people still
