Winter's Death

Winter's Death

This time of year, that everyone fears, the gears of
nature are frozen over. Four-leaf clover of luck, stuck
in a crystallized state… The death of the Earth!

Cursed Persephone, to watch slowly all the cities wither of life,
as her beauty is lost to Hades’ deadly decaying grasp.
These days… These sad days… Nature begins to falter.

Grass around marble tombs stones do not grow but wither away.
The icy wind blows fierce as a razor cut to the face of a new user.
This hypnotic piercing wind… Chips away at the sins of man.

But Demeter looks on with watery eyes, for her daughter is
lost to endless depths of hell. Where the celestial sky is no more
to the sight of the eerie and damned. Where the wrath of Hades

bleeds the illness of men dry, bringing all in his realm to their knees
for all eternity. For this… Wind hisses and the sky falls into
darkness, a slow stillness… The coldness of snowfalls... To winter’s death...
