Wise, wise Mum

When l was growing up, your words were.... there will come a day.....l will be no more. A day that l will be far, far away. A day that you can’t see me.... hear me nor speak to me. All l leave to you will be two things. Keep them in your heart and run with them. One, Love.....love others like there is no tomorrow. Because to love means having a heart. Two, Empathy... putting yourself  In someone else’s shoes....and it also means love. How right you were mum...wise, wise mum. Those two words have made me who l am today....Human. So thank you mum..... wise, wise mum. Thanks for making me a better me.
