Wish I Were You

You go outside
And you have so many friends
While I wait inside
With the same old feelings again

I try to do what you do
In school
I try my best
But I can't ace any test

You have all the men
But I'm here sitting

Wishing I were you

Dreaming, about
Laughing
With friends
I would be able to smile
And let people in

But instead I'm left here
Without meaning
My back to a wall
And all I'm seeing
Is nobody's there

I wonder, if I were like you,
People would hear me
I wonder, if I looked like you,
People would see me

But instead I'm a nobody
