Poem -

wishbones

When I am dead

they will find bones
With holes in
no heart

In the sack

Organs
That have melted
no wishbone

In my back

A brain
too short on electric
two eyes

That could not see

A point
In all life's beauty
Which dies

With certainty.

When you die, I will see you
Every moment of your kind heart.

I'd say they would find a body of a great woman who loved hard, and was indeed left with a gaping hole in that heart. 🌹

If they’re not blind they’ll see the energy of great love
irradiating from those very bones.

A powerful, dark, well-structured write. And I hope you're around for many more years. Take care.
