Wishing on a star

I wish upon a star, for all the mundane things that everyone wants.
 Yet all these things we want is just a front.
To hide what we truly desire.
To afraid to light that fire.
But I ask you, what's wrong with wanting to go higher????
To reach into our subconscious and submit to the darkest thoughts.
Who's to say the things we truly want are wrong or bad????
Sometimes you just got to let go, let our truest feelings show.
