Within his eye

Within his eye. Whilst he dreams I'm a wake and watchful I cloud him not but give him space, and in the light surrounding him, no stars look out of place, for only love Beneath the moon would kiss his eyes and feel his breath Warm and tender as my own A million miles away from death Upon the fairest moonbeam, I'd stretch across the darkest sky Just to light the heavens blue caught within his eye, for nothing but the night could hold such beauty whilst he sleeps And so my heart it holds most dear the places that he keeps.
