~ WITHIN THE SILENCE ~
Mine is a moment in the momentary
The slipping through the strangely apparent
The wilting of the transparency
And the fluid sound of comparing
The tinkling, within the silence...
She whispered,
Move not through the mountainess
Hurry not the sleeveless possibility
Of the extra recognition of windiness
Wrapped up in a feathered soliloquy
And lost jingling, within the silence...
For most certainly the muffled ministry
Has the ability to float through cloudiness
And blockade the chaos of the noisy tree
That only ever blooms with tenderness
Then moves alone, within the silence...
I have found a love that waits for me
On the far side of the hollow tree
Across the Thames is my soft company
And she waits for me,
Within the silence....

Dear T…there is such delicate, pristine wording through this poem. It drifts the reader gently through its soft, tender, tangible phrasing. The echo of silence lingers within the readers mind, long after the final line is read. You took my title and carved out the essence of the power in silence. The beauty of longing and waiting for silence to lead you to loves shore. That is what dwelled inside my mind as I read your delectable words. Almost a meditation severed through the tonic of silence itself. You are prolific when it comes to poetry. I love this ❤️ thank you love x
