Wolf Moon

Endless howls fill the tense air,
Selene observes how her pups mourn the distance between the moon,
How humans bite and snap and snarl,
Oh how they are like the wolves,
Praises and songs fill the air,
Poisonous bullets shatter their songs,
Chaos erupts in the Moon Goddesses heart,
Her puppies murdered by the humans,
Merge them together 'neath the full glowing moon,
Cries of fury and screams of pain,
As their bodies twist and change,
Become the wolf,
Hunter and Prey,
Become the human,
Deadliest predator known to animal kind,
Beneath Selene's  watchful gaze,
Man and Beast become one.
