"Won't Cut No Ice"

The truth must to Be raised back to it's true spiritual level
We must Be willing to dig and true faith must Be the shovel.
Don't have fear of the muck or even getting stuck in the mire
With the truth to replenish the spirit We won't so easily tire.
Don't need extra baggage only makes for too heavy a load
We can surely use less hinderance down the long narrow road.
We will only need true faith and yes,never ending trust
To Be true on this path We find it is absolutely a must.
We must Be watchful of evil with it's many traps and snares
For some of the evil is hidden but much more is truly bare.
Many of the lies are sweet when One gets the first taste
But Truth turns them all bitter and locks the mouths like paste.
The word is on a great many lips but not hardly found down within
When it leaves their mouths now they're far more vulnerable to sin.
The truth is very sharp and sometimes truth may not seem so nice
But You could sharpen all lies Yes,and they still Won't Cut No Ice!  Amen
