Wooler “Well, Spring”

Wooler “Well, Spring”

Tho I may be a trifle biased...I have dwelled here for over forty years, yet when I venture away from Wooler... well how I miss my   country cheers

Nestled amidst Northumberland, near the southern Scottish border....I hold my home town high amongst our locality of beauty spots in my pretty, pecking order

Our changable colours of the Cheviot hills are such a splendid sight to see, Wooler lies in the midst of this & in the heart of me

Coffee shops & country lanes, a quiet, quaint market town,  being on the St. Cuthbert’s way it is a walker’s renown
Our ‘Gateway to the Cheviots’, a marvellous title to boast.... so here’s to my homeland of Wooler, the place I love the most
