Words: 1

Letters make them up
can be long and short
descriptive and simple
really it matters not

They can show love
but also can describe hate
since creation they’ve been used
to speak like on a plate

What would this world be like?
if we had not a word
would it be better or worse?
or would wish to be a bird

Words: 2

Words in the form of a sentence

can explain many a thing

it’s been used since creation

from a pauper to a King

Many an emotion is shown

emphasized more with a word

as many a lover declares

together in tune like a bird

Every song has them

to express it’s meaning

but without meaning and words

who indeed could sing?

A child forms them one at a time

a woman is defined for her talk

a comedian uses them for fun

but this world without them – word lock!
