Words Lost

How many others have not sat before me
Trying to make their thoughts free
Everything has been said about everything suitable
And in every way possible

How can my words compare
When words are not rare
How can mine come even close
To all the world's verse and prose

I do love words so
My heart takes a deep blow
When i think of the little time
Not nearly enough to make them all mine

So much to read
To fulfill my passion and greed
So much to write
It fills me with sorrow and delight

No one can ever get through them all
We are all stopped to soon by a wall
By time we are trapped
In boundaries we are wrapped

But even if we had more for show
The limits as well would only grow
Words are never ending and ever lasting
While breath is constantly draining
