Words that are heard 🥲

Words that are heard 🥲

We are the wondrous people in this grand and glorious world

Whilst some of us endeavour to write about happenstances as they unexpectedly unfurled

Such spectacular circumstances may leave a reader mystified and swirled

Spinning with these revelations that were suddenly straightened from twisted and uncurled..

And yes indeed propaganda can and sadly does fall on eve’s dropping ears

Virally spreading idle gossip results in one and all’s troublesome tears

Alas sordid secrets are spun out sensationally leaving a recipient in fears

Adding just a little bit more sauciness whilst this travels titillating from peers to peers..

So the moral of this short story is to never repeat what you have just heard

Unless this piece of information has come straight from that horses mouth and has not been maliciously referred

We all know to well unfortunately, that there are those busybodies out there who love nothing better than to whisper an awful absurd

So do not participate in useless chitter chattering unless you can truly believe in every word...

Perfect write , I can relate to this so much as I had a work colleague just yesterday spread a misconstrued story that led to him almost being fired because of the nature of the rumor about another co-worker . Life is a lot easier when we live ours and not others . ~Shallow Waters

Hello Jill, ooh yes it’s like that game Chinese whispers. Yet we never learn from that game do we. Things quickly get taken out of context and something becomes something else entirely. Your wise words “unless it comes straight from the horses mouth” are indeed something we all should practice more often

Another good ink my friend ❤️😘x
