WORLDS AWAY
For my dear ones, whom
I have abandoned
When I abandoned myself, when
I threw worlds away, when
My voice just got hoarse, when
I just couldn't pray...
Anymore
And, for my dear ones
Whom I have abandoned
To the darkest of nights
Cowards never do fight...
For long
Today... my mirror is tortured
It reflects light away
All my mirrors now cut
With reminders
To pray
So...to my dear ones
Whom, I have abandoned
To the torturous night, because
Cowards don't fight
For long

What a clever write my friend, you allow the reader to feel the weight of grief in this write. How it consumes us and leaves us stranded in darkness. Incapable of seeing light. You pen a true sense of isolation as we detach ourselves from our normal lives. I agree with Jill your pen is mighty 💖💖hugs xx
Hi Gwen..yes it is a grief...also a shame. I have abandoned the fight ( dog/cat meat trade) animal cruelty and it IS the most horrendous of tortures. They need every voice they can get and I just don't have it in me anymore...even before Judd...it broke me but it lives in all the corners of my mind...a tiny shadow in comparison but a shadow none the less...lots of love Xx
It cannot be helped my friend, you are emotionally exhausted I am sure❤Yes it is horrible what goes on. When I went vegan years ago, I remember watching about dairy cows, and writing a piece on it. I was just beyond disgusted at the utter torture they faced, just so we could drink milk. The dairy and meat industry is truly shocking and heartbreaking when you look into it. Try not to beat yourself up though lovely. You have truly suffered and need to do whatever you feel is needed on a day to day bases. Hugs ❤
I'm.impressed that you're vegan Gwen...I'm veggie/vegan...aspiring to veganism but I do find that I don't normally have the time to check every ingredient. I do what I can but won't touch meat or meat products ..thanks love xxx
