These footballers have now inspired the nation 
Mass hysterical scenes and wild celebration 
The winners at last of a major competition 
Praise to the manager an amazing tactician 

What I noticed is they all work hard as a team 
Winners of the Euros is no longer a dream 
My congrats to the lionesses you did us proud 
Football has come home sang the jubilant crowd
