Writers Block

To think a thought.. 
So potent..so vibrant 
That it inspires another..
And another...
Coalescing a plethora
Of ideas inundating the mind 
With innumerable possibilities
Akin to a fractal..
Leaving the mind the very picture of chaos.. 
To drown within the waters of complexity 
To be petrified by over abundance 
And stagnated by the many within the singularity...
We poets wage war against the mind,
As well as against the soul,
That we might bridge the gap...
Whether the stroke of a pen,
The strike of a key,
A whisper on the wind,
Or admission to a friend,
Our greatest enemy, writers block...
For what else could hold us...
