Wuthering heights 💔

Wuthering heights 💔

Wuthering heights are yon moors of mine

Thru blackish bracken barbed entwine

Far away beyond horizons line

Rivers roll thru valleys veiny spine..
                                ~
“Heathcliff please hear my plea!!”

I imagine that authoress Emily

And Catherine cries so sorrowfully

Betwixt and between this wilderness roaming free..
                                 ~
I listen as I hear laments of woe

Thru wailing whistles breezy blow

Eeriness amidst moonlights afterglow

Then rousing from my revery I let it go....

Jill a superb well written poem elegantly mirroring the great and most cherished Emily Brontë novel who along with Kate Bush would enjoy reading it too.
And a superb pic of the moors just adds to it.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thanks for sharing and writing and five stars and full honours bestowed as well.❤️

I adore Emily Bronte's writing. Her poetry is gorgeous too. What great inspiration the moors give a creative mind as indeed you have proved yourself with your walk and this poem ⚘x
