Poem -

โ€œYe shall be King Macbethโ€

Tried my best for Simonโ€™s challenge ?

โ€œYe shall be King Macbethโ€

The moon shone bright thru yon bleak blackness
Macbeth a mere generalย ย and his companion heard madness
There amidst the shadows in the wild woods was three old hags with drab cloaked hoods

โ€œYe shall be King Macbethโ€ was the first witches cry
As the generals rode their white stallions they didnโ€™t question why
Lying at home in betwixt the Scottish moors was Lady Macbeth lusting for her husbandโ€™s lures
Macbeth ties his steed at the door
and storms in for his wifeโ€™s affectionsย
He suddenly tells his tales from his strangest recollections

Lady Macbeth had seen this vision in her head as she lay in solitude in her lonely bed
So convinced by the witches prophecies his loving woman encourages his knighthoodย
This general Macbeth has conquered many battles with strife and atrocities
King Macbeth reigned in 1040 until his deathbed but this proud general never forgot those three witches in his head
