Yellow warning of ice ❄️☹️

Dammit here we go again
This message flashed on my phone
Oh how I hate the road conditions
In our winter months I groan

I’m lying worrying in my bed
My two daughters are driving now
They both work in opposite directions
So have to get there somehow

The trouble is my youngest lass
She really drives too fast
Mind you shes almost thirty two
So it was years ago she passed

But though I nag at her speed
Its a dead loss
My moans fall on deaf ears
She drives  like Stirling Moss

God help her this morning
On those skitey roads of ice
I’ve been in a skid situation
It wasn’t very nice

I will never forget it
I was driving down a hill
Hell bells I lost control of my car
Dont know how I’m here still

So rollon the spring weather
Baltic snow & ice has gone away
I’m at end of my tether
Thats all I’ve gotta say
