I don't quite know
what I'm waiting for?
but I seem to be waiting for something
something inside my gut 
tells me I should wait patiently 
because in time it will come

something so wonderful 
that will change my life
a shot at being me perhaps?
a good news moment 
that will make me say to myself 
I told you so
 
but it hasn't actually happened
