Yon fleeting Glimpse 🌈

I gaze beyond the hazy horizon at my beautiful view

Could this pretty rainbow be from my Mam and Dad playing at Peekabo ?

Are they watching down on me now, Oh how I wish that I knew!!

Coz my old folks were like the colours from that shining sun

Gentle, kind and full of fun

They showed me warmth since my life had begun

And I miss them so much, when all is said and done

So I Thank the highest heavens from up above

For sending me hopefulness and something special to think of

Your rapturous rainbow brightens my melancholy mood, with its light of love
