YOU

YOU

I thought we had something
Two Souls from the same Galaxy
Passion, Fire and Madness
Infused with Hope and Gladness
But now I see I must be deluded.
You want to make Love to me
But can't spare 5 minutes to talk on the phone
Just leave me here, home alone.
I am just an objective part of your reality
Whose depths do not accommodate my meagre needs
So stay away from Me
Play not your Games with My Heart
Do not text me on the morrow
To mitigate my sorrow
I thought we were forged in the same fire
But it seems I am mistaken.

Hi Tony thanks for your support. Just a midnight rant last night echoing my feelings after a late night blues session. S*** happens right. Life goes on..
How did you get on with Paris? PM me your blog as I'd be interested. Cheers. Ru x

Ohhhhhhhhh...I learned a long, looooooong time ago never to play head games or mess with a woman's heart, Ru T!

As you'll answer it, take heed
This Slave commit no Violence upon
Himself. I've been deceiv'd. The Publick Safety
Requires he should be more confin'd; and none,
No not the Princes self, permitted to
Confer with him. I'll quit you to the King.
Vile and ingrate! too late thou shalt repent
The base Injustice thou hast done my Love:
Yes, thou shalt know, spite of thy past Distress,
And all those Ills which thou so long hast mourn'd;
Heav'n has no Rage, like Love to Hatred turn'd,
Nor Hell a Fury, like a Woman scorn'd.Β  ~ William Congreve, in The Mourning Bride, 1697

Excellent write, as usual...

It seems some people haven't learned not to mess with others hearts, just looking for a free ride..
