Yesterday still … You were only a figment of my imagination
Laid somewhere deep within the corners of my heart
Over many  years have I intertwined You,piece by piece
Until You were fashioned in my mind
And I could see  You as only You should be.

My heart recognized You ,even before
My mind sensed who You really were
And each new day, when I sweep away
The proverbial spiderwebs from my mind
My heart reveals the exceptional  You.

The moment is Here and Now
You are a quiet reality
Searched for you have I not
Yet You were sent to me as a gift
To fill my life with beauty and splendor.
