 You and I

We have sufferedÂ
the same woundsÂ
you and I.
Wounds that poured blood
from the same places.
I know we can survive
This I am sure of
We share the same scars
You and I.
Cuts across our hearts
But now they are a lost memory
In a past so far away
We share the same loveÂ
You and I
Never endingÂ
Always re-growing
Every year that passes
like the sweetest season
