I thought that I was over you, when you said we had to part;

But two months later you returned to me, and broke my broken heart!

You said that you were done with her, the you left me for;

And begged me for another chance, and to let you in my door!

I did everything you asked me to, but more than just the door;

I opened up my broken heart, and let you in once more!

For a while things seemed just like old times, the passion and the kiss;

But all too soon I realized, that something was amiss!

Secret calls long after midnight, and trips away from me;

Then I finally understood, that we could never be!

So I said that we were over, and you’d broke my broken heart;

Now I’m lookin’ for a “real” man, to make a brand new start!
