Poem -

You Can Keep Your Lottery...

I'm broke but you can keep your lottery
Where I've been
It's the lowly who know discovery
And serine

I'm stepping over hundred dollar bills
Giggling
While walking in a crowd of all my friends
Signalling

So they can launch at its silky paper
Beyond me
Why should I be looked upon as the papist
Let them be

A man's pockets can never moved the moon
Nor will they
It takes faith to believe mountains can move
What you say...

All I need is what can secure my hopes
Without fail
You can have this world's money and its slopes
With its fear

I think to lose big, you have to win big
But thinking
Takes hurt out of anything worth a dig
For building

True wealth was in man from the beginning
So it seems
Until some fool came up with a lottery
And more schemes
