Poem -

You will never be my Dad

My daddy this and my daddy that,

When all I think of is,

'What time is he arriving at?'

Why he never held me at night,

To stop me having nightmares,

And terrible frights,

I do not know,

Why he never spoke to me,

To leave me behind,

Oh I'd hate to agree,

But the truth is,

You haven't came back,

You may be my father,

But you will never, ever,

Be my Dad.
