Poem -

You'll be okay

You'll be alright, they said as they pumped you with meds,
Take them they say, they'll sort out your head,
No care or thought, about the underlying issues,
Just take them they say, so people don't miss you,
Go back to your home, and have a good rest,
Tomorrow you'll see, you will be at your best,
But Six weeks later, and still without changes,
If anything just worse, more so now then in ages,
We'll just up your doses, and that's what they say,
Tomorrow you'll be better, then you'll enjoy your days,
A month goes by, but you're still the same,
Locked to your thoughts, like a ball and chain,
Getting so paranoid now, you want to break loose,
Until you find your escape, at the end of a noose.
