You'll fall into something, we all do.

"You'll fall into something, we all do."
Barren words, dribbled through the teeth of a tired soul,
Ransacking my ears,
Leaving the china of my childish mind crashing.
"You'll fall into something, we all do"
Fall?
But I don't want to fall into place,
To have my space chosen on a shelf,
To be packaged and prepared by a strangers hands
And thrown away past my sell by date.
"You'll fall into something, we all do."
I will leap into something we never do
And when those words limped out your mouth, I knew.
Better to bear the scars of a life spent swimming,
To stand at the end, dry and cheering,
Than to let the currents of life decide your own ending.

Hi Connor,
I'll tell you what I fell into;Β the love of your beautiful prose. Β Your metaphors are spot on. Β For alliteration, I love your line "leaving the china of my childish mind crashing". Β Then, its powerful "ending", is to let life decide ones own. Β Great write. Β Welcome to Cosmo.
Peace and Love,
xox Larry
