You'll Tide

You'll Tide

oh Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree
how green are your branches..?
I like them green, not full of tinsel
and gaudy baublesĀ
I see gaudy baubles pass me
and foil wrapped chocolate people
they melt when the going gets tough
or simply reflect back
your own insecurities doublefold
give me a true Christmas that is real
traditional and home made
cinnamon and almond mince pies
nuts with shells on..mistletoe
and a cup of kindness..
for that is true Christmas
.
