Young Love And Loss

Like ' Thanatopsis'
In its majesty and contrary brooks
A major contemplation
On death's predicament
Where fear begins
To tear you apart
And screams,
" You can't get wounded
If you've got no heart! "
From the tapering summits
Of divided minarets
Protecting the castles
Of Love and Death
I can't stand to see you
This way
But,
When two souls stand up
Erect and two-strong
The lotic movement of love's
Babbling brooks
Takes into account
Young wantonness
And the rapture felt
While deep in
The ' cherry ripe '
Springtime,
Of,
Love and loss....

Your usual visionary flair delves deeply into the central factors underlying reasons for showcasing attitudes to the topic. Bountiful reflections on relationship motivators and inhibitors.
Powerful synopsis indicating investigative yearnings of emotional responses to driving forces of life.
Competent manifestation of intuitive complexities regarding evaluations of emotional negotiation or conflagration.
Take care my friend, on your journey to seek valuable insight.ย

Old Billy Boy Bryant ain't got nothin' on you, Tony, heh-heh.
Not only does this poem convey a good romantic tale, it is also chock-full of wonderfully alliterative phrases and rich metaphor.
Bravo, Sir "T".

Hey DEAN!!.....I was wondering if someone was going to mention the classic poem by W.C.Bryant....that poem 'blows doors' over mine..... but I am so pleased that you mentioned it.......I know they don't belong in the same league but it's so cool to mentioned alongside him!!.....I DO believe that when this write is in its final form it will be one of my better writes!!...... good lookin' out brother poet!!...... you're too cool!!.......thanx for this!!....... peace......T xo ???โค ?
I greatly enjoying this poem, Tony. Instantly I derived from it a Shakespearean element that I havenโt found much of around here so this poem is not only beautifully composed and hence eloquent it is also unique which is one of the things I love poetry for because it allows the individual to really shine through his/her work. Thank you for sharing this with all of us!ย
