Your Love

Your Love

First the angels made a garden,
And they called it paradise.
Warmed it with the passion,
From a pair of lovers eyes.

Then they shaped the oceans,
And the sun to shine by day.
Stars to guide the wanderer's feet,
Upon their homeward way.

Then gathered sun and moonbeams,
And the beautiful opal was born.
Ice and fire living in harmony,
Their wise message never forlorn.

Then crafted a tender rose,
The flower of constancy.
Placed a lily by its side,
To teach us purity.

Then to make my life complete,
For all the rest may fade.
Heaven sent me your love,
And that's how the earth was made.

The fish of the sea

Wow, Shaun, an awesome and unique take on the story of creation. Flowing and elegant rhyme flows through this work, soothing and melodic, but I especially enjoyed,

Such simplicity and effortlessness in creating a deep and relaxing picture for the audience. SUPER well written Shuan. Pinned my friend.

P.S Some things in life one should never take too seriously or
dwell on too long, for the preverbal cows to come home.
For pray tell- where's the fun in that? :)
