Poem -

your wedding ring

i hung your wedding ring on our christmas tree

i feltĀ Ā it was the right thing to do,

i know if you were here you wouldn“t hesitate

you would do the same for me to ,

Sweet jesus how i miss my girl

and all those thing“s that remind me of her ,

i would give all i have just to see her one more timeĀ

two people in love that“s what we where,

Christmas card“s come flowing through my mail box

from all our friend“s , but i never told them aneything ,

how suddenly you were taken away from me

o what pain this day did bring,

But everybody wishes us a happy christmas

friend“s from near and from far away,

as tear“s fall onto those loveing card“s

but without you i dont want this day,

So i decide to read them anyway

because these christmas card“s are for you to,

and as your wedding ring shines on our tree

i“ll carry on with my memories that“s always you .

A brave expression of loss, Paul. It's something that we don't like dealing with, but at times, must.

Well done, and may the Reason for the Season bless you!

This is tragic but absolutely beautiful!Ā  If this is a true story you have my deepest sympathies!Ā  Also, my admiration for getting through it so gracefully as the poem describes.
