Zoth-Ommog

Zoth-Ommog

A cone-shaped body with a lizard-like head,
That is what Zoth-Ommog is.
Thick serpent-like tentacles
Growing from its head.

Pseudopods resemble starfish arms,
One on each side of the swarms.
Buried underneath the Pacific;
In R'lyeh: the corpse-city.

Deep Ones worship Zoth-Ommog,
Manifesting through many statues
Scattered randomly around the world.

Incredible poem. I like poems that challenge the mind.

Good work.

Favorite part:

A cone-shaped body with a lizard-like head,
That is what Zoth-Ommog is.

The first few lines are what sets the tone in the poem. You do a great job in describing what the Zoth-Ommog is. However, I still found myself scratching my head a little. So, I put in Zoth-Ommog, into a Google Search engine to come up with the definition. Pretty interesting stuff, I read so far. I’ll return to read it again after I learn more about the subject.

Compelling stuff to say the very least.......I Love the Sumerian histories..... and I'm thoroughly convinced that the Annunaki are a forgotten part of the world histories...... which of course include lizard-type beings of 'High Intelligence" that interacted with human beings back before our own history books document anything!!......I think, for the most part, the history of this planet is NOT taught to our current population...... So, poems, writings, drawings, equations, such as this are of importance........ALL STARS!!.... well done..... and........WELCOME to COSMO!!.......LOVE & ROCKETS!!.......T xo.  : )
