5 Seconds

I know we agreed to be friends, but when we had sat down inside that photo booth, and you turned to look at me, I suddenly felt like the only thing that existed was the millions of stars that seemed to be exploding in my chest. There was no gravity, and no air. My heart didn't know what else to do,  but take a dive into all the feelings I had bubbling inside of me. I then asked myself (when I was finally able to think somewhat clearly again) how could you not feel what I was feeling?

The lightning, all that energy in that small room, you just had to feel something more again! There were enough bolts of energy to awaken your dead heart. Yet you just smiled, like nothing happened. 

In those 5 seconds we created cosmos. In those 5 seconds I remembered what it was like to love.
