A letter written by an orphan boy

Dear Parents
I still sit by the window hoping I could see you walk back home.
All that I get to see on that window glass which you left broken are images of the memories I encountered with you.
I find it hard to smile without your jokes but IΒ guess sadness is better than death;
I do visit your graves and cry but I never forget to put new flowers.
By birth you taught how to count and by death you teaching me how to grow.
I do miss how you used to pick me up when I was down but I feel your hands around me all the way from heaven.
Every time I am lonely that's when IΒ feel your arm around me.
Its hard for me to sleep without having thoughts of you mind,I mean I your voice I am alone.
I sometimes look out the window and wonder where u are;
Although I look at the sky at night and realize how dark it can get,I do hope you are safe out there.
I see your face wherever I go but I guess I am just missing you.
My friend always tell me to let go of your memories but the way that you loved me,no one else could ever do.
Its been a long time without you parents but I still have photos of you to pass time with.
All those baby footstep you taught me,I walk proudly with them when visit your graves.
I miss the morning kisses you used to wake me up with,
Nor the bedtime stories you read to me at night.
I hope heaven is a peaceful place for you,I can't wait to be there with you soon.
