AN ABANDONED UMBRELLA

The inky expanse above mirrored a mind shrouded in darkness. Thoughts, like black crows, circled aimlessly. Fear, a jagged bolt of lightning, pierced the gloom. The crow, a prisoner of its own shadow, yearned for the iridescent splendor of a peacock. Yet, reality remained a somber gray.
An abandoned umbrella symbolizes a forgotten past. The relentless downpour was more than precipitation; it was a ruthless thief, stealing lives and hope. The once serene river had transformed into a chilling necrology, its waters burdened with human tragedy. Landslides and earthquakes were nature’s brutal epitaphs for the innocent.
