Daddy Daughter Day

Ramel and his 2 daughters Jalani and Alaya took a nice stroll through the park.  It was hot and boy were people outside.  The sounds of kids yelling and screaming of joy rang throughout the park. Sun rays beaming on their shades, you could smell someone grilling from a mile away. Hot dogs, hamburgers, shish kebabs, enough food to make anyones stomach rumble with hunger. The scenery was beautiful and calming. To the right was a big lake, the sun reflecting off it. Made it so blue and clear you could fix your hair in it. They walked by watching a few people run over to it with their fishing rods.  As they kept walking the sound of Spanish music filled the air. As it grew louder you could see people dancing in the distance. When they finally got near they all smiled, admiring the huge family have fun. Some sat at a table playing dominos, some dancing bachata. Kids running around shooting their water guns.  A little splash got on Alaya. All Ramel and Jalani could do was look and her and laugh. As they kept moving Ramel noticed a nice spot in the grass away from the noise, where they could lay and enjoy the weather.  They all removed their shoes so they could feel the grass between their toes.  Watching the sky as birds flew by chriping, even catching sight of a few butterflies. 1 even landed on Jalani’s shoe but flew away as she attempted to pick it up. Jalani pulls out her Polaroid camera and the trio take a bunch of photos together. Ramel shakes one of the photos and holds it up to the sky. He smiles in awe of how nice they all look together.
