Dance

My first time at a bat mitzvah
I didn't know anyone
They called us up to the dance floor during the party
I went, but did nothing
Then a girl came up to me and introduced herself
We quickly became friends
She pulled me up to a stereo shaped box
Where you dance
Only everyone clearly sees you
Her happiness spread to me
I loved to dance, but I was too afraid to show myself in public
Until I finally had the courage to ask her
"Do you want to see my dance?"
When she said yes I started
Everyone stared in amazement
At about the third song the whole crowd of more than 150 people cheered my name
Cameras shot up at me all the time as if I became famous in less than a minute
So introduce yourself to someone new
It could make their life better including yours
Take your friends with you
And show the world what you can all do

Great message!
Hey Kayla,
(150), WOW, think i would have to think about that a minute as well, that takes a lot guts, as much as it do the fortitude. Your confidence must be something to boast about, or you just don't coward to adversity one,not to mention you, (yourself) must be a very good dancer? I am sure it did make you feel pretty good, for those people to recognize and give credit where it was due, unlike many in our society one of the reasons people are to afraid, to put that best foot forward...That's when, (what you were entrusted with), has to kick in, placing confident in yourself, in place of fear of rejection and reprievability..Encouraging story, for the doubters in themselves....When there shouldn't be....

Very encouraging!
Hey Kayla,
Thats great, it must have been an amazing feeling as you where liberated i should say, and it is when we celebrate ourselves that others come to join, for we have removed and conquered fear.
keep rising
