Endless dreams

Christopher looks into the deep ocean and his eyes feel refreshed. He gets excited as he walks through the sand, he picks up speed as he gets closer to the wonderful sea. From behind all you see is sand kicking up from his burning feet, and his white back making its way to the water. Chris steps into the mushy sand that lies underneath the heavy, blue water. You can see his body slowly become less tense as he descends further into cool water. The salty water coats his dry lips and brings a burning sensation. Then an awkward feeling hits the bottom of his feet, it feels like he is getting stabbed by a rusty knife. Chris’ face slowly turns from a face of joy into a face of uncomfort. He ignores this because he couldn’t imagine something as small as that affect his time in the mesmerizing ocean. He slowly looks down to see if he was just stepping on a rock or something of that sort, but what he saw gave him a feeling of panic. The water was filled with small clouds of blood. He lifts up his foot to notice that he was just standing on a small shark tooth, of course this didn’t worry him because he could just move. A screeching squeal comes from behind a big wave, but Chris didn’t have time to react. He stands there as water ambushes his mouth and he starts to drown as the wave takes him under. Grabbing his whole body and throwing him around, yet he can’t scream. He can feel everyone watching but no one does anything to stop it from killing him. Chris feels suffocated and then starts to panic. Yet no one budges from their spot, no one moves. He can feel the water making its way through his body. Christopher just lets it dehydrate him from all the salt, he stopped fighting it knowing he wouldn’t win against something so big. The waves start to invade his nose but he can’t cough under the weight of the water pushing through him. The screams slowly turned silent and the arms that were flailing around have now stopped. His heartbeat that used to be racing is now at only 20 beats a minute. Christopher can feel his body giving up and his memories start to flash through. He knew he was dying, he knew his life was flashing before his eyes. The water floods his lungs and the ocean that used to look so beautiful is thought of a monster now. His eyes used to shine so bright, his smile used to light up every room he walked into. Now his smile is non-existent and his eyes look dark and cold. Still no one shows any emotion, they let him drown in his favorite place. Little did they know he had actually just become one with his dreams. It was Christopher destiny to let the sea take him in like a step-dad takes in a child. He wanted to be smothered with something filled with so much amazingness. Did they know that he wanted this? No, but when he stopped caring he knew it was right. Christopher earned his wings and flew into a land of endless dreams.
