EXTRA SENSORY PERCEPTION!

Joseph Rhodes Buchanan`s discoveries were amazing for their time! As metaphysics and the various abilities of these unusually talented people were only just starting to be taken notice of by the general public!

They were just starting to become fascinated with the subject of mediums and the paranormal, through the media helping to spread the word about this amazing information and all the other subjects and abilities of the few who were willing to talk about and demonstrate their talents in this field.

However people can be very cruel to those who possess and utilize these various abilities! Many who are capable, hide the fact from their peers. I am one of those people who mostly keep my ability to myself and have only spoken about it to close family and friends. I am writing about this now to try to encourage others who are broad minded enough to talk about their feelings and views on this fascinating subject and to give people like me a fair and sensible hearing, as the more we discuss it the better it is for those to comprehend and to learn further. 

The scientific society are very reluctant to admit that they don`t know the real reason or methods that these abilities come through from. They tend to take these things lightly as just being entertainment at best and fraud at worst.

There have been many people who are famous from the past who have had these abilities, but sadly there have been just as many frauds, so it is very hard for those with genuine talent to be taken seriously, even when there has been definitive proof and details that people with these talents couldn`t possibly have known otherwise.

We as a society, are now only just becoming used to the idea of these abilities in this modern technologically developed era, which is a great shame because humans have always had these abilities! We, because of modernization, have just stopped using them and have simply forgotten how to use these important forces of human nature! It is sad because we can do so much good with them when they are used properly. Think about this for a moment, `Geophysics` is just a modern technical version of `divining`!

It is very hard work for those who are psychic or able to use psychometry and any of the other abilities that our human brain is capable of, to be able to give absolute proof. These talents have been available to us since time began, we just don`t take any notice of them anymore as we have developed throughout time. It has been said that we all communicated with each other through E.S.P right back at the beginning! before man developed the power of speech! Think about all animal life forms, they all communicate through E.S.P, they must do because they can`t speak to each other can they?! Dolphins are a perfect example of E.S.P

Why can`t we all just accept the fact that some people are still able to use these abilities and are able to put them to some use in doing good work in this world of ours. When children give information to us about these things, we should encourage them further, rather than telling them that it is all in their minds! Funnily enough, that is exactly where these abilities lay and we as a society need to accept that fact and just get on and learn from it!

In the winter of 1921, a number of people came together in a room of the Metaphysics Institute - the French version of the Society For Psychical Research in Paris.

They wanted to test a clairvoyant! Leading the team was doctor Gustav Geley, a leading French investigator, and director of the institute. Geley asked another member, a painter and novelist called Pascal Forthuny, to pass the medium a letter. As he passed her the letter he said " It can`t be that difficult to invent something that can apply to anyone! " He then started to improvise lightheartedly for his own amusement. " Ah yes, I see a crime!....a murder! " When he had finished his little act, doctor Geley said " That letter was from Henri Landru! " Landru was at the time on trial for the murder of eleven women! crimes for which he was guillotined the following year! Nobody in the room was very impressed because there had been a lot about murder in the press at that time!

Geley`s wife then picked up a fan from the table, then said, " Let`s just see if that was just a lucky guess! " Forthuny then ran his fingers over the fan and looked dramatically into space! " I have the impression of being suffocated, I also hear a name being called: Elisa! " Madam Geley looked at him with surprise as the fan had belonged to an old woman who had died seven years earlier from congestion of the lungs; her companion in her very last days had been called Elisa!

I could go on with many more examples! but I think you get the point I am trying to make! There really are more things in heaven and earth that we have yet to realize and we all need to try hard and take serious notice of them for the future of our generations to come.
