Galaxy Unleashed: Savior from Underground

Galaxy Unleashed: Savior from Underground

It felt like someone had bashed me in the head with a brick. About a million times. I opened my eyes and noticed I was laying down. When I sat up, chains connected to my wrists jingled. "What the...where am I?" It looked like I was in a prison cell or something.
Around me, I could here moans and sobbing. But mostly strange clicking sounds mixed with a language I did not understand. I turned to the cell beside me. In it was what appeared to be a girl around my age. She sat there, staring into the distance like she was watching a memory.
"Please, tell me. Where am I?" The girl didn't move an inch. "Please, I need to get out." I jumped when the girl laughed. "You'll never get outta here, no one gets out of here. It's only a matter of time before we become slaves." She looked into my eyes, and I realized the girl wasn't a human. "Your life ends here." Here eyes were the size of my fists, and here nose was just this bump with holes. Here hair was white and matted. Her frame was just skin and bones with rags for clothing. Her face was inhuman, and her large black eyes were disturbing. I scanned all around me, and found that the rest of the prisoners were species as the girl. "What are you, if you don't me asking."
"I am a Gara. My name is Neda. You?"
"My name's Arica. I'm a human." Nedra's eyes suddenly widened. Her expression was a mix of frightened and disbelief. "You are a human? Where did you come from?" She asked.
"Oregon. In America." She looked confused, obviously never hearing of such a place. "You are not from here. You are not from this world, this planet." Said Neda.
Now I was completely confused. How could I be on another planet. "What are you talking about?"
"You come from Earth, this is Mok Terra. I assume now we are in the region of Halbadalm." She said.
Suddenly, there was a great quake and what sounded like sword fighting. "Our saviors!" Cried some of the prisoners. Neda turned to me with a smile. "Perhaps this is not the end."
"What's happening?" I shouted over the commotion.
"I've heard of stories. Stories of soldiers coming to save prisoners like us. I thought it was just a tale to provoke hope but it's real. It's real!" A great explosion came from the east wall and other Garas came running out in armor. They had long, sharp swords that they held close. Half of the soldiers opened the prison cells. Some of the prisoners hugged the soldiers like they knew them. Neda and I were released at the same time into the crowd of Gara. The soldiers stood around the group with their swords outstretched to the entrances. A moment later, a figure in golden armor entered with another soldier. This soldier in the golden armor was obviously the leader. The leader came closer to the group and spoke in the clicking language that the others spoke. I looked at Neda, who was hypnotized by this soldiers words. When the soldier was finished, everyone cheered and made their way to the doors. I passed the leader and got a better look at her. She was a female, however she was not a Gara. This leader was a human like me. The soldier that must've second in command was a Gara. A more masculine one and tall. The only thing that distinguished him from the other soldiers was a cape with a symbol on it and a medal. "Who are this people?" I whispered to Neda.
"Those are royal soldiers. The commander and the general. But she is also the princess of the region Pespendawa. The royal family is human."
I pondered this a while. It was almost like the Garas worshiped humans. In my mind, it seemed very strange. I was so deep in thought that I almost ran into a spear that one of the soldiers pointed to my face. The leader, general, princess, whatever, came up to me and studied my from head to toe, muttering clicking sounds under her breath. She circled me about four times when she actually spoke English. "You're not a Gara." She came closer, inches from my face. I could see clearly through here helmet now at her intense green eyes. I spoke, barely audible "No, I am a human. I don't know how I got here or why I am here. I'd like to go back home...to Earth."
"Earth? That is so far from Mok Terra." She looked at me again, then took off here helmet. Here reddish-brown hair swept over her shoulders. Though her face was beautiful, she still didn't seem like a princess to me. "What is your name, human."
"My name is Arica Walter." I said. The crowd had already left the facility, leaving I, the princess, and the commander behind. I was very anxious to leave this place. It was as if the princess had read my mind because she motioned for us to walk. "Well, Arica Walter, why do you think you are here?" She asked.
     "I don't know why I'm here."
"You are here because the Doeta wanted something from you." I turned to her.
     "What are Doeta." I asked.
"The Doeta are underground slave traders. Sometimes they take people to sell, sometimes to keep. Your cell" she pointed to the cell I was kept in "has a red streak on it. Blood. Garaian blood. It means that the person in that cell is special to them in some way." The princess turned to the commander "This one has to go back to Pespendawa alive. The King will want to know more about her."
"Yes. I will see to it she gets there in one piece. As for you?" She turned around to him.
"Oh, I'll be right beside you, Pontik." The princess turned to me again. "By the way, until my father figures out what to do with you, you can call me Swan."
