Gems play a remarkably rich role in our everyday life, although we are often not aware of it. In literature, it is another wonderful fascinating world of gems, filled with magic, mystic along with mystery as well. Gems are in our everyday life.  One way gems permeate our world is through literature. Gemstones are very often found in stories and novels. It is not surprising because gems and jewels can embody not only beauty but also wealth and these elements are very useful for dramaturgical developments and action. Since our childhood and adolescence, gems have appeared in stories and novels such as “Ali Baba and the 40 Thieves” or “Treasure Island”.
The five fundamental elements of the Cosmo are also the same in our human body. If balanced in proportion they keep the body healthy through the sun's rays. These same elements are found in the gems. The fire element in ruby and coral, the water element in pearl and diamond, the earth element in emerald, either element in yellow, Sapphire, and the space element in blue sapphire. These mysterious and colored gems have great influencing and charming effects on human life. On the basis of purity and hardness, they have been performing great deeds by lessening the malefic effects of planets over human life and they bring harmony in the good and bad effects of planets.
